Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before downloading, installing, or using the Compaxs: Accurate Compass application. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Alvva Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Compaxs: Accurate Compass mobile application ("App") and all related services ("Services").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
This license does not include the right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or commercially exploit the App or its content in any way.

The App is available for free download with limited features and may display advertisements.
Access to Premium features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or as otherwise specified at the time of purchase) through Google Play or Apple App Store. All payments are processed by the applicable app store and are subject to their terms.
We may offer a free trial period for Premium features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged the applicable fee.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for unused subscription periods unless required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will give you advance notice of any price changes. If you do not agree to the new prices, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
The App may allow you to store or share location waypoints, screenshots, or other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide the Services to you. You are solely responsible for your User Content and warrant that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
All intellectual property rights in and to the App — including software, design, graphics, text, logos, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to Alvva Inc. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited license described in Section 2.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. Compass readings depend on device hardware and environmental factors; do not rely solely on the App for safety-critical navigation in hazardous conditions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALVVA INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or HKD 100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alvva Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, the license granted to you will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
